  • The use of a multi-segment model of the spatial characteristics of the transformation to improve the accuracy of measurements hot-wire gauges liquid flow rate

To achieve high accuracy of measurement of liquid flow rate using the hot-wire gauges are encouraged to use multi-segment method of spatial characteristics of the transformation. The method is based on the nonlinear three-dimensional elements. Model the spatial characteristics of the transformation is maximally adapted to the peculiarities of the conversion function of the primary transmitter. Model repeats its spatial form with the non-linearity, zero drift, the influence of external factors, including temperature. This provides a low error rate calculation of flow. Study of the effectiveness of the method was based on experimental data obtained during the calibration at different temperatures. Maximum reduced measurement error does not exceed ~ 0.45% at an arbitrary temperature, recorded during measurement.

  • Nonlinear autoregressive neural network with exogenous inputs based solution for local minimum problem of agent tracking using quadrotor

This paper offers an improvement for machine vision based tracking algorithm using NARX neural network. This is achieved by predicting the next position of a mobile agent based on previous movement described by time-series functions. The algorithm remains passive and does not interfere with the quadrotr flight path until detection of multiple agent-candidates, when the tracking algorithm is not able to identify or locate the assigned agent. Meanwhile the NARX training set are updated in parallel with each successful tracking cycle. This process is done to eliminate the overfitting problem of BPTT training.

  • Using hardware in the loop simulation in design of data-measuring and controlling systems

Today’s trend of electronics complicating makes developers to create more complex devices in a shorter time. Developers have to contrive different ways of designing automatization to prevent production worsening. However, automatization cannot improve the situation when an innovative device is developing because such developing involves a lot of testing and researches. In this article authors propose to use hardware in the loop simulation methods to optimize designing process. Hardware in the loop simulation is division the device in functional blocks, some of them are produced as models and other are produced as hardware. Usage of this method decrease cost of modernization hardware blocks and allow using a number of data processing algorithms at the same time.

  • Prospects of introduction of hexagonal distributive electrical grids

At the present time in most countries of the world are being actively developed and introduced intelligent technologies necessary for creation of reliable and effective intellectual energy systems. Intellectualization of distributive electrical grids will move energy system to a new level of automation. Evenly distributed electrical grid of hexagonal type was offered. The principle of creation a grids was described, a typical scheme of universal electrical load unit was proposed. The key advantages of the hexagonal network was reviewed. The estimation of the reduction of the level of losses during electricity transportation was made. The increase of the level of reliability, the factors affecting the probability of faultless work were determined. Evenly distributed grids of hexagonal type will build energy system based on Smart Grid and solve existing problems: lower quality of electricity, the shortcomings of the power reserves, high density of electrical loads and high energy losses. Project implementation should be carried out in stages: from pilot project to implementation in big cities.

  • Parametric model of pseudorandom sequence generator by OrCAD

This article describes the model of the pseudorandom sequences (PRS) generator developed in OrCAD program suite. The described model is applicable for radio systems modules circuits simulation that are using in the operation a PRS. The PRS generator implementation in OrCAD make possible to change PRS parametres immediately in the program, without using other software. A model specificity is that it is parametrised. Parametrization facilitates model control and that is reduce to a minimum necessary manipulations for changing of PRS type. The model is constructed on the basis of circuitry implementation of the linear feedback shift register (LFSR). For adjustment of model it is enough to instal code words setting starting state a LFSR, parametres of a signal of a clock source and to specify register tap output.
