The article deals with the issue of the influence of ambient temperature on the initial height of the flare emissions rise. The paper presents full-scale and theoretical studies of flare emissions operating near a temporary residential complex. In the course of the work, a series of images of flare emissions at different ambient temperature conditions was carried out and their subsequent comparison with the theoretical model was carried out. Field studies verify the theoretical model and establish that the initial height of the flare emissions depends on the ambient temperature and has an inverse proportionality.

The electrophysical and mechanical properties of a piezoceramic material based on CTS are investigated. A number of features in the behavior of the electrophysical properties of the material in the temperature range located significantly below the low-frequency (1 kHz) maximum of the dielectric constant T_m = 160℃ have been revealed. The obtained results indicate the proximity of the studied material to ferroelectric relaxors, in particular, the low coercive field E_c~5 kVcmcm, the significant dependence of T_m on the frequency and amplitude of the measuring field, as well as the behavior of the velocity of longitudinal ultrasonic waves in this ceramic. It is shown that the elastic properties of this material are very close to ferroelectric relaxors, having a high malleability in a very wide temperature range. At the same time, the squareness of the polarization loops at relatively low temperatures indicates the manifestation of the classical properties of the ferroelectric during the polarization switching processes, and not the "freezing" processes characteristic of ferroelectric relaxors. From the results obtained, it can be established that this composition will be promising for use in the actuators of adaptive optics systems and precision positioning devices due to the high values of piezomodules.

The effect of a zeolite support on the physicochemical properties of cobalt catalysts was studied on a series of samples with zeolites ZSM-5, HY, and NaX. The catalysts were obtained by precipitation followed by mixing the precipitate with a zeolite support. Their properties were characterized by BET, TPR, TPD-H2, IR spectroscopy. The results of the analysis show that the type of zeolite support affects the specific surface area, reduction of deposited cobalt, and the structural properties of the active component of catalytic systems.

The importance of ensuring reliable operation of steel vertical tanks is emphasized. Based on the analysis of a number of scientific publications and regulatory documents, the most characteristic defects are presented in tabular form by groups, the combination of which determines the choice of the method of overhaul or reconstruction of tanks. In accordance with the data given in the table, the most common methods of overhaul and reconstruction of steel vertical tanks are considered. It is noted the need to develop organizational and technological solutions based on information technology, using servers for monitoring through the GLONASS / GPS systems, which will allow, within the framework of monitoring, to detect defects and damage to structural elements in a timely manner during the operation stage and ensure their elimination in order to increase the residual life of vertical steel tanks .

It was necessary to develop a filter design option for implementing it on an FPGA in conditions of limited FPGA resources and processing time. Options for constructing filters and sequential optimization of the structure for implementation on an FPGA were considered. Two models were built using the Matlab environment, where the results of signal processing with filters were compared for the same parameters. Simulations have shown that the filters are unique.

This article considers the development of an information-measuring system for determining the thermophysical parameters of electrical devices. The developed functional diagram of the device is presented. Experimental studies were carried out in the COMSOL program. As a result of an experimental study of the transfer of heat from one part of the electromagnet to another, namely from the magnetizing coil, through the core to the environment, it was concluded that the best location of the temperature sensors is in the upper part of the body of the electromagnet EM-34-5. The data obtained can be used to determine the thermophysical parameters, in solving problems of the theory of inverse problems of heat transfer and heat transfer.

The ever-increasing number of vehicles creates a heavy load on the transport network of cities. One of the ways to solve this problem is to develop methods for controlling traffic under existing constraints. The first developments in adaptive transport management began to appear in the mid-eighties of the last century. They were able to positively influence the transport situation of cities and regions. Each of the adaptive control methods has passed a fairly long period before being directly applied, undergoing constant changes and improvements. As a result, systems built on the basis of these methods are being implemented and are still functioning. In order to simplify the processes of development, operation, maintenance and scalability of adaptive transport control systems, to implement the principles of active management to increase the flexibility of such systems in the design and application, a method has been developed for building distributed traffic control systems that allows you to design a system from ready-made blocks and implement it according to the principle plug and play.

The results of a study of the nature of the occurrence of fine dust particles in the urban environment (on the example of the city of Volgograd) are presented. The sources of dust release in the form of ground dispersed massifs represented by loess and clayey soils are considered. The results of determining the mode of variability of the parameters of the mechanical composition, physical properties in two directions of dust drift (southeast and north) are shown. Studies of loess and clayey rocks for radon content were carried out. It was revealed that the dispersed soils under consideration are characterized by significant indicators of the effective specific activity of radon.
